Abuse Counseling Treatment (ACT) counsels clients that have been abused sexually, physically or emotionally. ACT does have a safe house.

Provides a wide range of programs and services to older Americans who are 60+ years of age. Some of the services available are: Adult Day Care, Emergency Assistance Programs, Home Delivered and Congregate Meals, Homemaker Services, Legal Assistance and Personal Care.

Here to promote self-sufficiency by "whatever it takes for how ever long to provide services". Services provided are: food pantry, clothing, financial assistance when available and immigration.

Florida Rural Legal Services
Florida Rural Legal Services provides civil legal assistance to persons with limited income and assets. Migrant Farmworkers also served. FRLS DOES NOT handle criminal cases, traffic tickets or "fee generating" cases.

Lee County Human Services
Family Self-Sufficiency has a variety of funding sources that can help to prevent eviction, past due mortgage and utility disconnection. If a household has a financial crisis (unexpected loss of income or unforeseen expense), they can visit our Intake Department 8:00 to Noon, Monday through Friday. They can also call for a preliminary telephone screening. One of our Intake staff will return the call within 24 hours.

Literacy Volunteers of Lee County, FL, Inc.
Volunteer tutors teach English to those of different cultures and nationalities. English speaking persons who are unable to read and write are also tutored. There is no age discrimination. Help with getting your GED is also available.

Meals on Wheels delivers meal daily to those in need. Meals are prepared at Lehigh Regional Medical Center. There is a small charge per meal.
